HHMMM,.
your applause sounds a lot like just one hand clapping to me. Not sure how their 'chance" for parts was allocated. Sure seemed like a secret to me. I have had at least one fully registered/insured UrQ for the last 17 years, sometimes more, and in that time have never had less than 2 other registered Audis, usually 3, and have been a member of ACNA the whole time and I never got the call about parts being available or last call. I must have been sleeping next to Mike H.

From: QSHIPQ at aol.com I applaud Audi for how they disposed of the parts. What they *should have done* (and did here in the states btw) is to take it all to the crusher, and call it NLA, write off the full retail price of the part. The fact they gave a chance for them to be sold for pennies on the dollar, needs more credit, not discredit. Several folks here in the states got in on it too, so Audi didn't need to make it cost a fortune to put it up for US consumption. Some can moan about missing out, but that decision wasn't a secret.
