I did check the "Urquattro Registry's" records for an '86 US car, and no US URQ has ever 
been registered as an '86.  There may be one out there-it is alleged-but no actual 
evidence to date.  There is a story about one car that was purchased in Germany for the US 
market and the owner had a choice of having it made as an '85 or an '86, and it is said 
that he chose to have the car built to 1985 US specifications.  I don't have much info on 
that car, but no urq that has showed up in the Urquattro Registry that I have maintained 
since 1992 has been reported to have the digital dash.
