Subject: [urq] Mileage contest

So a friend of mine with a '74 and '79 911 and I got into a little argument
at lunch a few months ago - he happened to be driving one of his toys that
day (rare) and I wasn't. So he gave me a hard time. Of course I was
thinking "YOU are giving _ME_ a hard time???!". So I suggested we have a
contest - whoever puts the most miles on his toy in the next year gets 3
free rounds ($100) of lapping (courtesy of the loser) at a local kart track.
My urquattro vs his 911. He whined about snow and this and that. So I said
I'd put up the mileage on my one urq versus the mileage combined on his TWO
911s. And considering he lives 18 miles from work and I only live about 5 -
I'd have to commute 3 times for every one time he did to stay even. Still I
was confident - but he sissied out.

It would be fun or interesting to do something like that here - and no, Bob
P, your recent 7000 mile trip wouldn't count!
