[urq] Where to sell a high-end urq?

Robert,

I didn't attend the UrQ25, although I've been to the Beddor Nationals from time to time. I realize that the Historics were a long time ago but those that were there might remember the car and it is in far better shape today than when Kent showed it. The guy that did the cosmetic work on it has restored cars for the Pebble Beach Concours, so he's not your average paint and body guy.

I'm not looking for opinions on the value of the car at this time. I haven't taken any digital pictures of the car and so that will have to wait for later. I was simply trying to give a general idea of the car. I am not looking for "pain and suffering money" for the mechanical upgrades; I merely listed them to illustrate that the car hasn't been modified extensively, as many quattros have. Many people, including myself would rather have a car that is closer to stock. I AM expecting to get more money for the car than the average quattro brings. I've been around these cars for 25 years and have owned others. I know what the average urq is like... frankly it's hard to find one that runs well and looks good. Most are pretty used up at this point.

Have any opinions on how best to sell one?

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff - that's a pretty big boast, was your car at UrQ25? Monteray was a

> My suggestion is hit the big audi boards in usa and europe and hope someone bites. As an interrogative; chip, K24, cam - those are basic mods and should be expected at minimum your description of those upgrades make ir sound like you
