Again sounds familiar.? I run a override switch for the high speed fan.? If you use the 3 pin radiator fan switch you can use the low speed fan circuit and ground thru the rad switch.? Then for high speed use a relay (I put one behind the instrument cluster) with a ground trigger to the rad fan switch.? Then put in a override switch that allows you to turn on the high speed fan during hard runs.
I installed this for Steamboat 2002 on my Blue 83, and it's still fully functioning today.
Next up?? Dual electro-pneumatic diff locks using 2 diff lock switches from a 92 S4?? Yup put those in too!

Subject: [urq] Rad fan temperature switch...
Hi again,
What do you guys do with the rad fan switch ? Each time I go ice racing, the
switch dies. It seems that rad fan is always on during the race, killing the
switch's low temp trigger point. High temp trigger point still works, but
then water temps at the head outlet are over 115C. I can move the fan wiring
to the higher temp setting (I have a 4000q rad fan, single speed (250W)) for
the race duration.
Should I ?
Louis-Alain
