[urq] Exhaust hangers

Apparently the VW chain re-inforced hanger has gone NLA. Supersedes to what
I think is a normal rubber part number - 893 253 147 D. My local deal said
he had none - could get none from the warehouse - but a dealer in Vancouver
BC had some. My dealer said his price was $26!!!!!!!

034 said they have quite a few at just under $10.

I 2nd that (171-253-147-G).
Got 'em on the golf. It used to eat a straight rubber one every 6 months or
so. The chain reinforced things have been solid for 3 years now.

Hey, this topic sounds like a rugby song:
" does your exhaust hang low?
Does it dangle to and fro?
Can you throw it 'oer your shoulder,
	Like a continental soldier?
Does your exhaust hang low?"

'cept the song is about bollocks not exhausts......

FYI it's Wales against the USA in Chicago on Saturday

Use VW part number 171-253-147-G. They are $1.75/ea at AutohausAZ (IPC can
get them for ~$4/ea if you want to get them locally and don't want to pay
shipping)

These are the ones that look like regular exhaust hangers, but have internal
chain reinforcement. If your exhaust system hangs low with these in place,
you have other problems.
