Actually - now that you mention it - the radiator I had purchased from
Performance Radiator was NOT exact OE replacement - it was missing one of
the nipples - one of the upper forward facing ones now that I think about
it... I had brought my old one in and so we had it for comparison - then
they welded one of the old nipples to the new radiator. Was not a big
deal.. Oh and BTW that is not where it leaked after 2 yr - it leaked at the
bottom where the fitting for the mount was welded on.

Tom,
In my urq, I have a Coupe GT radiator on which I had a shop weld the missing
nipples for the auxiliary rad and such. Much cheaper than anything else
since the rad was from a parts car and free...
It is an OEM part (AEG If i remember well). It is exactly the same urQ rad
(size and thickness) but without 2 or 3 nipples. It will look OEM if you
paint it flat black over the shinny gloss black these shop normally use. I
did it with BBQ paint.

Several years ago I bought an OE replacement Nissens - it was pretty cheap
at around $175 IIRC. I bought it from a local distributor - Performance
Radiator http://www.performanceradiator.com/ That said it started to leak
slowly after about 2 yrs :-(
So I'm thinking they should be available - and not too bad price-wise.
And all that said - I can't recommend the Ron Davis radiators enough if you
decide to go aftermarket - very nice piece.

Lets try this again. My last note never made it, are wanted posts not
allowed? (at least I never saw it)
Looking for a radiator for my 84. picked up a nice aux that was really
needed (thanks Tim) but my main is toast as well... I know there are some
REALLY nice aftermarket pieces but I'm trying to keep it like it left the
factory (for now).
cheers,
tom.
