[urq] Front Wheel Bearing Shift?

Hi Frank,

Unless one of the circlips was missing, it's impossible.

Newer '85 and up cars used 82mm bearings and only one circlip, but the
other side was stepped so again, no way for the bearing to move.

Now, the hub can spin in the bearing itself, but again no side to side
unless the main 32mm nut is loose, in which case your bearing is pooped
anyway.

The other option is subframe movement (make sure all subframe bolts are
tight) or the control arm bolts (to subframe) are loose as well.
And there are those two ball joint bolts holding the ball joint in the
control arm.. make sure those are tight.

All of the above will cause tire wear of some sorts.

Hope this helps.
