i didn't get any comments on this questions about the asymetrical property of the wheel bearing. Ed did a wheel bearing change 5 minutes into piece 3 of 5 on youtube.

But Ed didn't mention that a wheel bearing has a front or back side either. Anybody know? Here is the bearing photo.

Poor Ed forgot to loosen the axel nut before putting the car up on the lift.

I'm guessing that's the side that gets pressed into the strut housing during installation. The bevel helps start it.
BTW - I got 2 bearing kits from autohauzaz and the package with the circlip labelled RUVILLE Germany - says made in Taiwan and only contains one circlip. I think that Audi retail price for a bearing kit was over $150 though.
