Your post drowns in irony?? Let's cut the sh*t, why weren't you involved beyond 'participant' this year or last? ? When did you organize your last (ur)quattro event?? Fresh from being i-net battered/bruised from my 8th year organizing the Gruppe-q Steamboat Event, I started to read the rumors on AW about this last event, and volunteered to be the communication coordinator for 100year to *exactly* cut the sh*t.? Last year was fun, I was there too.? As you were not aware of what the Urq25 crew was putting together for this year, I find the below ignorant to the planning, strategy, effort, and slighting a lot of hard work.? 

To be honest, the minute I read paragraph 4 below, I too think about all organizers having real jobs as I mentioned in my last email.? Reminding anyone about what an Event is as a "participant" not an organizer, begs you to meet the very challenge you put forth below.

Demonstrate your vision in execution, not attacking the efforts of this crew or speaking to Audi's corporate interests.? There's not enough involved and active urq owners for you to make that charge of others.? Pick up the phone and call someone in the know about what happened this year beyond your feelings of 'suspect'.? You might find paragraph 4 below doesn't just apply to you?

Who wants a gathering this year and who wants to help?

To be honest, the minute I saw that this years modest little UrQ gathering had a 
Marketing department, I was suspect.

Personally, I have just finished my 46th nights stay in a hotel since Jan 1st.? 
I will be back on travel by the middle of this week.? My time needs to be 
budgeted very delicately.? Arranging business around a trip in July was no big 
deal a couple of months ago, changing it now is.

As someone who attended UrQ 25 and enjoyed the heck out of the event, meeting 
the people that had been 'list buddies' for a decade, and made some new friends, 
I still can't see why this years event needs to eclipse the event we had last 
year.?

Remember, "it's about the car", not?Audi's corporate interests.?
