[urq] I got the PS pump out of my urq , but I want to check b4 forcing off the hi pressure hose on the cgt.

Thanks you steve B and others. I'm trying the pump swap. urq pump is already on the floor.
When I unscrew the output hose on the cgt it just twists. Im guessing it is supposed to spin at the point in the photo with the pink arrow.

small chance the rear end of the high pressure hose might be where it is to spin.
urq by contrast used a banjo joint here, it was easy. Anyone remember how to remove this hose from the cgt powersteering pump?

There is a pressure regulator in the "Flow Regulator" what the IST calls the
block underneath the bomb ... and this device has a line that allows fluid a
direct path to the reservoir.
I looked in the IST, and there is a piston which modulates flow to the
brakes depending on the system pressure. This piston also appears to be
able to modulate flow to the steering assist, ...
The pump is a pretty easy swap, and it will tell you right away if that is
the problem. If the pump doesn't change things then the second suspect
would be the flow regulator.
