Hey all, It has been a long time since I have written to the list...
And I surely never expected this to be the subject matter of my next
post, but i am in a situation where it is looking like i have to sell
my UrQ.
To those who don't know, the car is heavily modified ( i will list the
modifications), but at the same time, it is not running right now, as
i have had it in the garage for the past couple years, so the battery
is dead, with a new battery, it will operate correctly.
So, here's the deal:
Converted to an MC engine by 2Bennett
Converted from CIS to the 034 EFI stage 2c setup - distributor-less
ignition, wasted spark ignition, laptop programmable setup, w/ the
software cd
It has a Garrett GT28R dual ball bearing turbo
Tubular Header
3" Downpipe
- The 034 and other above modifications were performed by 034 at their
shop.
2.5" exhaust system, no center resonator, with a single borla muffler
Delrin control arm bushings front and rear
Coilover adj. springs front and rear w/ koni yellow shock inserts
Porsche 993 Brembo 4 Piston Callipers on the front w/ 12"x1" coleman
rotors w/ aluminum hats. I also have another set of rotors and hats
to go along with it
Stainless brake lines
The dash had been converted to the 85+ style as well
The car is Mars Red and has the tan leather interior. Cosmetically,
it is in fair condition. When the paint is given a good polish and
wax, it looks great, but it is an 83 that was a driver for almost all
of its life, so there are chips here and there.
The interior is showing its age as well - the leather on the front
seats is starting to pull apart a bit, and the driver's seat leather
is in poor condition...
Is anyone out there interested in this car? I am willing to sell it
for a really good price, as I need to get it out of the garage where I
am staying (San Francisco, CA), so if interested, please write me and
let me know and we can talk.... It's killing me to have to do this,
but whomever gets this car will have a very fast UrQ that needs some
tlc to bring it back up to snuff...
Thanks in advance,
Michael
