Well, the best tip for getting the window trim in is to put the trim in BEFORE you put the window and gasket in the car.  It is pretty easy that way.   First put the glass in the gasket, then put in the trim and then install the assembly.  Doing it afterward is very difficult.  Using dish soap and a plastic stick may help, but it may be faster and easier to pull the glass...
