Oh, that's right (My dimentia faded for a moment) Audi did go to the Viton
because of the fires; but then a bulletin came out through some national
firemans association that the Viton gave off toxic fumes and they would not
put out any Audi fires!!! And of course that whole Audi campaign with those
fires started in Colorado where new 5000' turboes were regularly catching
fire on the way up I-70 to the Eisenhower tunnel because of the seals! Audi
wouldn't believe Karl (Service manager at Prestige Porsche Audi for 30
years) until they came here from Germany and drove a car up the
mountain.................... It caught fire and burned to the ground as they
stood by and watched. PC
