The rules state that the engine must be made inoperable and the car  
verifyably crushed on site of whereever the car is taken to salvage  
within 60 days of being reimbursed by the govt. They legally can sell  
parts off the car but can't sell the engine and possibly not the  
entire drivetrain depending on which expert govt clerk you are talking  
to. They should be interested in selling the parts as most had to pay  
a premium to the dealers to obtain the vehicles and store them for  
free untill the dealers were/are reimbursed. Of course, like  
everything the govt puts its hands on; will end up being a huge  
cluster $&"@ with us holding the bag.......PC
