[urq] Vacuum test

I know this has been covered so many time and I did search the  
database but did not find what I was looking for. I have read a lot  
about vacuum issues and I'm now trying top track down my own. In the  
past, I used compressed air in cylinder 1 (not more than 10psi)  
making sure that the second valve (intake) was pushed all the way  
down buy checking the cam lobe through the oil filler. Also, the air  
intake has to be totally taped up or closed off in some other way.  
Has anyone else tried this way? I'm just curious considering I'm  
still trying to chase this one down. Also, when I take the oil cap  
off while the engine is running, it stumbles but doesn't die.
