[urq] 83 urq Brake issues - where to go now?

The chance of an Audi dealer having someone that can diagnose the UrQ's
brake system is roughly on par with winning the lottery. In other words, I
wouldn't go there. The most likely outcome is they will put their most
junior tech on it (senior techs will run like the car is on fire because
there's no chance to beat book) and the poor junior tech will fumble about
and break more than they fix. A good friend worked at a local Audi dealer
briefly. I'll never forget him proudly proclaiming that "I'm the only one
that can debug electrical issues- none of these old guys know anything about
debugging electronics". I asked him if he was beating book on any of his
electrical jobs, and if not perhaps that was why the older techs chose not
to know anything. The expression on his face was priceless, and he quit
shortly thereafter.
Where are you/the car? There are plenty of Audi specialists that should be
able to help, even if it's over the phone.
