[urq] Brown window switches ?

I think the plastic is the problem that started this series of emails.....

The switches can be disassembled, contacts cleaned and resume working. Be kind 
o the old plastic bits.

The black switches are the same switch used in the type 44 '85-'91. 
he '88+ have the raised vs depressed part of the switch swapped around. 
lso, they do go bad. 
TDT 
 converted to the new style and have been using switches from the 200q 
y 20v engine came from and have had to swap switches twice this summer.

 anywhere in North America. 
 (811-959-855 01Z (1983) and 431-959-561 01Z, (1980-82)). 

 However, the newer black switches are still available (447-959-855 01C, 
 1984, 70$cdn and 443-959-855D 01C, 1985-87, 90$cdn) and in stock at my 
 dealer... it must mean something about the longevity of these... 

 Time to switch the switches.
