[urq] Not on Registry I maintain

Depending on special military status or possibly just the timeline, 97, this is odd. NY will fine you like $6/day or something for not turning your plates in once your registration or insurance has lapsed. I don't remember when this started could have been recently, but I guess if you weren't planning on returning to NY then you could not worry about it.

The history shows this one was in NY until 97 and then went to Florida.

I also had no record of this car until this surfacing.

Hmmm, history being a vehicle history report? It's kinda weird because one would assume that for a VHR to pick up the relo to FL, he/she would have had to register it in some way in FL, correct? Wonder why the NY tag is still on the car? one might assume that -a: the seller put the NY tag back on for the photos (yeah right), -b: the photos are old, or -c: the car's been sitting for quite some time and was maybe never officially tagged in FL?
Maybe a military owner that could tag a vehicle anywhere they claimed residence?
