[urq] AAN swap!

Well, the AAN makes it a bit more involved then if using all 3B components. I know on the 20vT 3B swap you'd use a 200 flywheel along with a 5k turbo clutch disk. You'll need to remove the 3B oil pan and run a 7A 20v (naturally aspirated) pan for clearance. To keep the A/C you will need the relocation bracket used on the stock ur-q (moving the compressor over towards the front of the radiator). Dont forget you will need some various sensors from the AAN donor (specifically the altitude sensor will calibrate the ECU, normally under the dash).

You will also need a relocation bracket for the power steering pump. Some have sold them on motorgeek (actually a member here was producing them, however I have been unable to get a response regarding the brackets). You cannot use the AAN power steering pump because of the increased pressure it puts out.

Intercooler/Oil cooler fitment will be tight (custom plumbing will be needed), especially if retaining the a/c. Wiring will be the most daunting part of the swap, you'll need to retain the AAN FPR as well.

Good luck! Remember to keep some cash in the bank for the unexpecteds, and try to give yourself a good 3 month down time on the car to cover everything. yes, the swap can be done in a month, but rushing through something like this will just create tons of headaches down the road.
