The real question is : do you have wheel spin while you race your car on a
fast track like these ?
If no, the only benefit for locking the center would be a rudimentary
anti-lock device since both axels are tied together. Rears would lock that
easily. 

But on the other hand, locking it would exacerbate the understeer nature of
the car, very slightly in fact since the inside front wheel would be very
light if you run a thick front anti-roll bar and would be spinning anyway.

Short answer : yes, lock the center.
