I think really when you get down to it - you're all upset that
a) Toyota no longer brings here any interesting uber-cars that would become so readily accessible due to the sudden drop in residual-value do to this negative publicity;
b) as a result of this debacle the current government could very well legislate some ugly draconian 'solutions' to a problem of questionable breadth across ALL cars, and finally
c) the fact that it's an un-ending news story that we're all wondering just WHEN the comparison to Audi will be made even if historical and thus hurting the brand image potentially preventing Audi -USA from bringing in the re-edition of the UrQ if that project gets into production!

But it has on a positive note, caused me to think about a 2nd large vac-reservoir as I have just installed a Coupe-GT complete brake booster into the UrQ in favor of bailing on the old hydraulic system.
