You know, I'll have to check with a friend of mine that has raced on Pikes Peak and see what he says.

Of course, you expect top performance and regular rebuilds of performance racing engines, so the trade-offs need to be considered.

I would most definitely be worried in really dusty environs (dry dirt roads, for instance). I'm running a K at N on one of my V8s, too.

	choice...?

I was just wondering what was the deal on that, is it realy just good marketing. I did notice when i put mine in my car it did breath much better than the a few of the other various paper filters. I have checked the inside air tracks for dust and dirt and all seems to be pretty clean.

But what other experiences are people having? I did notice an improvment on spool up with a K&N over a paper...but then I have had my K&N for years now.

I do live in oregon so its more wet than dusty and dry (when I do drive it).

Anyone have any other recomendations?

Should i dare throw in K&N oil filters too?
