[urq] Boost leak sound in the cabin...

That’s why having a friend with a dyno is handy... when he’s there ! Brady, where are you when I need you ?

Seriously, the diff circuit is fine since it works perfectly under boost, where I guess the diff would unlock if pressure was entering the circuit.

Same can’t be said about the recirculation flap since I did not tried it under boost... Could very be the culprit, I disconnected that hose to gain access to the heater core. Do you know they built the car around that heater core ? It must part number 1 in the assembly process... boy is it deeply buried down there.

The boost gauge circuit is still to check, but the sound was clearly coming from the right side.

Every other hose has been replaced last summer, when the engine was rebuilt. A quick look under the hood didn’t reveal any missing clamp or torn hose.

More to come...

You can prob tell better, but did you think of checking the vacum lines for the locking diffs that are located in the center console? maybe the reverse flow check valve is bad and is leaking back boost or vac?

Just a passing thought ...

Maybe other way, have someone in the car while driving and get their head down there to better pin point the location...?
