Steve,
I bought some of those in the fire sale, as well as one of the modified pedal clusters needed for it. These were factory installed on the RR quattros. The design is excellent. The problem is that you need to remove the pedal cluster in order to machine off, then drill and tap the clutch pedal fulcrum shaft to mount to the brace. This also requires the removal of the welded nuts used to mount the early clutch master cylinders as the brace mounts up against the floor.
The part numbers are:
857 721 704 Support
857 721 115 A Pedal cluster bracket.
You also need a bolt, washer and lock washer to mount the brace.
I think that I posted pictures of this set up on AudiWorld a couple of years ago. I could email the pictures if you want to see how it goes together.

I bought the part Audi made for the newer cars from someone on eBay in
Germany. I looked to see if there was a part number stamped on it somewhere
.... didn't see anything. While I know Jeff, I've never seen the part he
made. It sounds like the 034 part may not be adjustable ... but I've got no
BTDT. The Audi part has a couple bolts that hold two parts together, and
there are slotted holes to allow adjustment. From reading the comments it
sounds like if there is any advantage to the Audi part it may be
adjustability.
If you want more info about the Audi part check the archives ... if you
can't find anything let me know and I'll dig up the info I have ...
