[urq] sun roof seal

Actually - that is what I have been doing for a few years - small piece of
window foam. But I was thinking maybe the sunroof isn't sealing well
because the seal isn't tight - i.e it's thick and won't allow the sunroof to
close enough??

I've seen the sunroof docs, played around but can't get the d#mned thing to
shut all the way.....

May the seal has no effect on this - in which case I will not mess with
it....

So I guess my question is changing - how do I get this d#mn thing to close
all the way!?!?

I thought my seal like 8yrs ago was one of the last....hopefully you'll find
one but if u don't, I might try to match a piece of some similar thing and
glue it in rather than remove it and damage it over 0.375". My friend, a
pro audi body specialist did mine rite after I got the car...maybe it was
10+ yrs, anyway I can ask him if you don't get any help.

I just fixed a burn hole in a fabric seat with some foam, little glue and
topped it with some shavings from the same fabric, I'm the only one who
knows it's there, you probably could do this same thing with some black
caulk. Good luck

Guys-
Ok so what's the deal? Once it's installed can you take off and re-install?
If so any tips? If not - are they NLA? Mine was redone many years ago - it
is about 3/8" shy of meeting. Typical wind noise at speed....
