not sure about others,
But if you have the black vent cowel off, you should be able to see the resitor right there, I would check that for voltage, Also possible make sure there is nothing jamming the fan gerbal wheel from spinning, could just be a twig stopping it spin...
If you have small hands or a kids NOT that i recommend a kid sticking their hands in tight spaces...but see if the mill spins freely.

Subject: [urq] Heater Blower Died
Yesterday I took my garage queen, #367, out for a Sunday drive and discovered
that the HVAC blower no longer blows (it worked last time I drove the car a
couple weeks ago). The fuse is good. I didn't spend a lot of time checking it,
and I gather access is via either the glove box or through the top (under the
rain tray on the firewall). I have no BTDT on this one yet so any and all
advice
will be appreciated.
The specific question I have now is the rear of the rain tray on top of the
firewall area has "glued itself" to the lip below the front of the windshield.
It is literally stuck on there. I can get the front off easily (remove the hood
weather strip and it comes free), but the rear of the rain tray is stuck good.
I
was thinking warming it up with a hair dryer might loosen it. There are clips,
I
removed one, and the plastic is still stuck solid. I don't want to damage the
rain tray since it is in good shape so any thoughts on non-destructive removal
will help.
As far as the blower, I figure it could be the switch, the blower motor itself,
or the resistor. I didn't dig in yesterday too much due to lack of time. It
appears the blower and switch are available (but the blower is available in a
"non-AC" version---are the blowers different with and without AC?). Not so sure
about the resistor (but I suspect I could make one up if I knew the values if
it
is NLA).
TIA for any advice.
