Per Rob, I'm making this too hard and just need to get the car back on the
road. Agreed.

I unpacked the new strut cartridges I got through L-A in Canada. They are
exactly what I'm taking out, same p/n, color, etc.

So what I have is Boge automatic regular oil shocks, p/n on the box is 32
976 6 which is the last bit of the p/n on the shock.

Now as soon as the UPS truck rolls up I'll be able to bolt new ball joints
to new control arms and put it all back together.

Sweet!!

Subject: urq front strut cartridge REMOVED

Finally got the driver side cartridge out. The threads on the tops of the
strut piston were a bit buggered so if took longer, naturally.

This driver side shock is blown and has been as long as I've had the car, I
believe. Been to Park City and Glenwood with it that way, not to mention
the purchase trip drive back to Colorado Springs from Greenville, SC (with
no license plates).

Anyway, what's in there was a BOGE 1 0201 32 976 6. What's that? I found a
thread on Motorgeek that seems to indicate that it might be a rear for a
4kq, a urq, or a 90.

So whatever it is, I don't think it's anything high performance, which is
fine, I just didn't know and since it rode like crap I figured it was
something upgraded. It has and ABT boost control knob and shift knob so I
thought maybe the suspension was upgraded as well.
