[urq] Vegas trip and then some

Well, I'm back home in Colorado Springs.  I left Vegas and drove to LA and
spent a week at Mom's.  The urq got a little use while I was there.  I left
Tuesday and got home about an hour ago.  I took I-40 to Flagstaff the first
night.  Then to Gallup and I headed north to Durango.  Today I drove through
Pagosa Springs and hit 285 north to go through Salida and up 115 back into
the Springs.  Amazing scenery today.  Absolutely gorgeous with the leaves
changing, some clouds, the snow on the tops of the mountains and everything
else was still green.  Wolf Creek Pass is unbelievably fun.
 
Had no additional cooling issues.  Never did dive back in and "fix" the hose
to the thermostat housing.  Did an oil change at Mom's and washed it and
cleaned the windows.  It's not clean now...  Just got it all unloaded... I
brought 2 cases of wine and assorted other goodies from Trader Joe's back.
Can't beat 24 bux a case for Two Buck Chuck for some decent house wine.
With my jack, my tools, all the TJ stash, the dog, and all the other
assorted crap I throw in the car when I travel, it was riding a good inch
lower all the way around.
 
Good to be home.  Had a terrific time in Vegas.  Really got some good
bonding with the urq.  I'm a bit saddle sore, but loved every minute of
it... well almost.  ;-)   I MUST fix the cruise control.
