Thanks for sharing the info, David. I've change the subject for the
archives.

The boot in question is for the rear axles of a 944 (944 331 903 00). It is
used at both end of each wheel axle, auto or manual. FYI, in the 944, the
gearbox is at the rear, between the wheels, and there is a rigid tube
connecting the engine and the transaxle in which spins a small diameter
propshaft.

Dimensions are : 100mm inside diameter big end, 21mm inside diameter small
end, 98mm nominal length.
