[urq] URQ Transmission

Brandon,

Peter Coulter here. Well, after finally getting the wiring harness in,
(tomorrow or Friday) I purchased the twin to Hap McGuires engine today and
plan on installing it in the yellow sponsor car next spring after we get
some other things worked out. That means we will be selling the engine and
transmission. I can't remember the name of the French guy that I purchased
that car from (Karl Behrer should remember) but he told me that he had both
the engine and transmission rebuilt at some point in time. The transmission
looks new from the outside and although I drove it for less than 100 miles
(at URQ25) everything worked well.  I don't believe anyone is going to want
the engine/transmission as a package  so the thought is to sell the engine/
accessories/ harness / ECU (we have to have a stand-alone system for the new
engine) as a unit and the transmission separate. Do you have any interest in
the transmission come next spring and if so for how much?  I think I need to
say that Gary will be putting the car through the paces including the
transmission and so it may become unavailable due to breaking before spring
