[urq] NAC : Car and Driver past issues...

I too had the habit to keep ALL car magazines I bought. Then, when I got the Quattro, I went in the basement to search for an article about the car : nothing. That’s when I decided to clear most of them, except CD. My youth is in there, you know…
To my eye, recent magazines are not up to their reputation. I guess our reading habits have changed a bit (news channels, blogs, web, iPad, etc.) and rags have a hard time keeping up. In the past, I was anticipating any trip to the bookstore. Now, what I read in there is already on the web since a month or two, there is not much surprise. That’s why I now follow good writers (Ezra Dyer in Automobile Mag, John Phillips, Csaba Csere and Don Sherman in CD, etc) because the automobile is just the matter from which they cast a good story.

LOL, no idea. They are neatly packed away in Rubbermaid containers, so no 'Hoarders' appearance for me! I
do riffle through them every now and again for fun, and yeah, the ads are fun to look at for sure.
I suspect they will be on Craigslist at some point when we move from NJ in 3 years or so.

And what do you plan to do with that ton of paper ?
I’m just curious… maybe we share the same disease ?
