[urq] Spotted..!

I like to drive mine a bunch.
A phrase I subscribe to is as follows;
"Someday everything you have will belong to someone else. Will they enjoy it more than you did?"
If saving and preserving something floats your boat and that's what you enjoy, than by all means do it. If you want to drive it, by all means drive it.
I understand and respect the financial side of rarity and collector value etc, but our old buggys aren't at that level - at least not yet. "If" they ever get there, then we (me included) won't be getting the driving pleasure from them we once did. Preserving one for that future day would mean you don't drive it now, and you won't drive it then. Just owning a car that is in better condition than all the rest is the joy that some seek, and that's great. If it wasn't for that type of owner, some cars would be permanently lost to the pages of history.
Once in a while at the local Coffee & Cars there will be a truly rare classic with a toll road transponder in the windshield. I love that.
For years I had a couple of Austin Healey 3000s and drove them all the time. Now they are pricey enough no one drives them anymore. Had I not driven mine, I would truly regret it. I have genuinely enjoyed every car I have ever owned. At least the enjoyable ones.
AAMOF the URQ is setting outside the office this morning.
Just my $.02 (and probably not worth that much).

I'm glad to hear you say that.
can't tell you how many people say "you don't drive that car, do you?"
ast Friday someone said "you're driving it to where? Why are you going
o put all those miles on it?"
I spent all that time and money so that I can drive it. I drive it to
ork every day.
ranted, I don't drive it in the winter. I know the car is meant for
he snow, but wasn't meant for the salt we use here. I don't want to
ave to fix all the rust again in 5 years.
So, who has driven there car in the last week?
f not, why?

Yup. that was me.
put close to 700 miles on the car this weekend.
That guy wasn't the only guy to take my picture.
was wondering if it would show up on one of the forums.
