uhhmm!,
I have no complains, I run my 1985 Ur 95% stock. My car starts and it is reliable on stock CIS 10v WX.When I got it 5+ years ago, I drove from West coast to East coast, with every problem that you can imagine.I decided that the engine was fine, but need to replace most wires. I did, I cut the wires near the fire wall, then I ran new ones to every sensor.
I was still having Hot start problems, but once my brother in-law (ex-Mercedes Benz Mechanic) adjusted it for me, it runs smooth, and starts right up every time.
The stock Ronal 8, are great in most roads that I drive here in the East cost, from CT, MA, VT, ME, NY, PA, and NH. But I'll be honest I only drive it in the summer no winter. The 15x8, gives me plenty side wall to make the ride smooth with the 20+ years old Koni dampers on stock springs.
