That's terrible Andrew! I don't have much personal experience, but here are couple of suggestions.

Rector Audi in Burlingame, CA is (was?) doing an online parts thing similar to GenuineVAP. I only ordered from them once, and it was a while back now, but they seemed okay.

"Carson the Parts Guy" on the quattroworld forums (that is is username--he is in this post for example: http://forums.quattroworld.com/allroad/msgs/83884.phtml) sounds like he goes way above and beyond, kinda like the days of Linda and Didi at Carlson way back when. He is who I will be contacting the next time I am seeking dealer only stuff.
