The URQ community has been asked to particpate in this years Climb To The
Clouds Hillclimb. There will be only 30 spots available so please register
early. Paul from vermont Sports Car is really excited about us attending
this famous race. The Sprongls URQ holds the hill record.

We are still working on the final details and schedule for us but here is
what has been talked about.

. John Buffum will be there with his Group B URQ , signing his book and a
possible Q & A for us and the general public

. Display for sure all day Saturday, possible all three days

. Marc Swanson is picking a route for a friday drive / tour

. There will be a small registration fee , T shirt or plaque for attendees

. Concerts on both Friday and Saturday night

. Possible VIP URQ parade run up the mountain

. Possible that Sprongls may have their URQ at the event

Located in Pinkham Notch, NH, the Mt. Washington Hillclimb, known as the
Climb to the Clouds, was first run in 1904 and is one of America's oldest
motorsports events. In 2011 the Climb to the Clouds will return after a 10
year hiatus to help celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Mt. Washington
Auto Road. The 7.6 mile Mt. Washington Auto Road is one of the ultimate
challenges for driver and automobile, the serpentine tarmac and gravel road
is lined with trees and dramatic drop-offs as it winds its way to the 6,288
foot summit of the Northeast's tallest peak.

January 6, 2011 - Officials at Vermont SportsCar, organizers of the 2011 Mt.
Washington Hillclimb planned for June 22-26, 2011 at the Mt. Washington Auto
Road in Pinkham Notch, Gorham, NH, announced today that the Sports Car Club
of New Hampshire will serve as the sanctioning body for the return of this

CLIMB TO THE CLOUDS TO RETURN TO MT. WASHINGTON IN 2011
September 10, 2010 - Officials with Vermont SportsCar, located in
Colchester, Vermont and the Mt. Washington Auto Road, located in Pinkham
Notch, New Hampshire, announced today that the legendary Mt. Washington
"Climb to the Clouds" Automobile Hillclimb will be returning June 22-26,
2011 as a major motorsports event. The Mt. Washington "Climb to the Clouds",
first run in 1904, is one of America's oldest motorsports events. The 7.6
mile Auto Road is one of the ultimate challenges for driver and automobile,
the serpentine tarmac and gravel road is lined with trees and dramatic
drop-offs as it winds its way to the 6,288 foot summit of the Northeast's
tallest peak. Organized by Vermont SportsCar, the 2011 Climb to the Clouds
will be a 5-day festival of motorsports that hopes to attract a 70-car
competition field filled with some of the best drivers from around the world
