Using the S2 steering wheel. I love it. More than the original sport wheel.

I second (or is that 3rd?) the horn button. You may have a weak spring or a
plastic piece might have broken off/is cracked -- leading to premature
grounding -- as grounding is all that the horn button does to make the horn
work.
Which steering wheel are you using, btw?

Yes, it'll be the horn button, or the wire going to it is somehow grounding
near the steering wheel mount.

Try turning the wheel back and forth while sitting still... also rap on the
wheel a bit too... I'll bet it will honk.

Actually - no snow/ice buildup - it was bone dry. We only have a few inches

of snow - and being so cold it was very dry snow....

I'm going to check the horn button and go from there.

Thanks guys

Was there some ice-pack around the wires causing it to short out and honk?

Maybe the insulation on that old wiring decided to break away rather than

flex in the cold?
