I was just in Denver last week!  Be advised that my experience doing this job multiple times over the years won't save you any money, I charge 3 times the price to do any job in 1/3 of the time.  Then, if you supply your own trans, and it's bad again, I'd probably own your car pretty quickly too ;)

It's simple to turn wrenches, but not much fun when Force Majeur makes folks realize why it's not what they chose to do for a living.  Savings eclipsed by the headaches of it.
