[urq] Any Experience Kumho Ecsta AST?

The biggest snag is that 225/50/15 is no longer supported by many manufacturers. BFG, Kumho, Falken, and Sumitomo are the only brands I can think of that still make this size. Dunlop used to make a good tire for the URQ in the SP8000, and SP9000 if I remember, but unless you can find NOS I think they are gone.
As far as speed rating, an H rated tire is good to 130 MPH. Are you seriously planning to do that in an URQ? V rated equal up to 149 mph which should give you plenty of margin.
With only 4 brands available the choices are getting slim.

... answering my own question ...
I don't know why I didn't notice the Kumhos are only H rated ...
I've found a Falken ZIEX ZE-912 ... looks much more in line with my needs
.. anyone have BTDT with either? Still open to any other suggestions.

I'm looking for some new shoes for the Fuchs 15x7 on the ury . 225-50/15.
hinking about the BFG G-Force Sport V but I saw that the Kumho Ecsta ASTs
re all season . and cheaper. Anyone try these tires or have any other
ecommendations for this size? I'm looking more for performance than long
ife . but it has to be good enough to make it to Colorado and back! J All
eason rating would be a nifty plus .
TIA!
