However, my friend Carl Ingram made his own very simply from aluminium 
plate, long bolts and cylindrical spacers for his rally replica. Robust and 
looks the business. If I can find a picture I'll send it to you if you want. 
Incidentally the small quad lights like you have on early US cars are still 
in use and available over here from Hella (albeit with a RHD beam pattern - 
but I expect LHD is still made) It's used on some modern buses.
