[urq] Relaying the fuel pump

I'm getting ready to do this to my 85 US build.  I'm fully capable of doing this, but I'd like to know how others have gone about it.  Has everyone put the relay under the seat with the battery or under the hood?  How much current does the fuel pump draw and thus what size fuse is safe to put inline?  What gauge wire? Has anyone used a 12v circuit breaker as opposed to having it fused?
