[urq] [Bulk] Injector Insert/holder

That is not a WX insert, it is the insert for the "air shrouded" injector like those found on the MC.  The insert on the WX is little more than a threaded disc with a hole in the middle with the seat for the seal.  

As to the material question, I would recommend against anything that would couple more heat to the injectors ... hot start problem city!  The idea of a heated tip on the shrouded insert might help vaporize the fuel I suppose, but no matter what choose a material that would insulate the injector!  I wonder if you could make them from some sort of ceramic?

Hi, (WX Head engine question)

 








Does anyone here knows or have any opinion on the Injector Insert on the WX head.
I was wondering if the Stainless Steel would have any benefit over the plastic OEM besides that it would not break.
Any heat issues?
Thermal conductivity?  Would get the injector hotter? or cooler? or neither?
