[urq] urq SS 3" exhaust

Peter/Steve,

Thanks much for posting this to the urq list. I have been watching for
such a 3" exhaust for the Urq
(a la urS4 Stromung), but it has been years and we haven't been successful
in getting it off the ground.

Any chance that the PDF link can be made more readily accessible? I don't
have an account on that
website. I am seriously interested in such an exhaust system (3" 20vt SS
mandrel bent). Over Christmas
I spent 3 full days building a 3" SS exhaust for my father's '84 4000q20vt
by cutting and welding mandrel
pieces, and I even had a Stromung downpipe to handle turbo down past the
subframe. Given the hours I
spent, I think $1450 sounds reasonable to me for a higher-quality custom-fit
exhaust.

I am not thrilled about a slip-on over the rear axle. I know clearance is
tight, but slip-ons have a
tendency to stay stuck together. Can we option for a v-band or
bolt-together flange there for a little extra
cost?

Regards,
Eric
