Guys -
Have you guys shopped for tires recently??- pickins are gettin slim!
 
I recently had a puncture on the border of the sidewall/tread that Discount
Tire said was unrepairable.  This is on a Dunlop Sport 9000 with low
mileage.  They couldn't find one anywhere in the country.  Neither could I
(Discount, Tire Rack, ebay,  a couple others) - except on Craigslist I found
(and bought) two lightly used ones. 
 
So then I decided to just search what was available in 225 50 15 with the
big shops.  For street tires, there were some Falken's and Kumho's and thats
about it.  Tire Rack had 9 Yokohoma AVS 100's so I bought 4 of them. 
 
Depending how long I keep this car I might _have_ to go with 16" wheels down
the road...
