Likely not broken. You can take them apart by removing the glass and removing the springs. I had to grind off the melt-over plastic holding things together, and replaced with small screws to reassemble. It is difficult but rewarding when finished. There is a pop-metal frame that the springs attach to. It gets bent out of shape over time. I took them out and straightened them to what appeared to be the original shape. Re-assembled and have tight mirrors. I'm not confident that with more repeated flexing they will not bend again, but for now, I have solid mirrors. CGT will work, but 4kq will not as the windshield is a steeper angle. 

 
The stock inter-cooler position was on the passenger front below the headlight. 

I think I have a hyd pump if you need one.
