Dennis bestows knowlege:
>Most of us have just used the 3B set up. You will need to modify the
>bell-housing to accept the twin flywheel sensor set up used by the 3B. And
>as mentioned you will need to replace the pilot bearing.
Chris Miller follws up:
>OK, clutch kit spec is 200q20v, including the small pilot bearing in the
>crankshaft. Is the throwout bearing compatible with the stock urq locker
>transmission, or do we need to order a different one than in the 200q20v
>kit?
Good thread, and I'm interested in all the answers. I'm putting an AAN
into my '82 Urq. Maybe we can group-buy a PP & disc?
I have an early Fidanza that Scott J. identified as thicker than the 3B and
might cause problems (though my Dad made it work in his 3B '84 4kq, so I'm
trying to figure his clutch out). I also have a factory 3B flywheel I can
use, though I don't want to. If I'm going to open it up after 30 years, I
want trick stuff. :)
Cheers,
Eric
