Hi Brandon
Sorry to hear that you and your quattro have parted company and I
sympathise. 3 years ago I parted with my 1963 Daimler V8 after 24 years of
ownership and know what it's like. But it was great to see the joy in the
new owners eyes when he drove it away. Reminded me of how I felt when i
first bought it. Glad to hear your urq has gone to a good home too.
And I echo your thoughts on the "list". I couldn't have restored or continue
to run my quattro without the accumulated knowledge and help of all on the
list.
So thank you too for your help and contribution to that and good luck for
the future.
All the best
Keith

Hey Guys-
Just a quick note. My car left today on a transporter bound for NY. Going
to a former urQ owner who is familiar with the cars and I'm confident will
enjoy the car immensely. It's been a very weird feeling for me but I'm
excited for him.
HUGE thanks to everybody here for all the help, advice, camaraderie and
friendships made over the past 12 years or so I've been on this list.
Invaluable. I honestly don't think I would have owned the car so long if
not for this list - due to both the knowledgeable people here who helped me
sooo much - and also the amazing friendships I made.
I will hopefully continue to bump into some of you at various GTGs etc..
All the Best-
Brandon
