Hello All:
 
About buying an ur q carbon fiber good, a company here in SoCal (Santa Ana to be precise) called GMG, Global Motorsport Group, which is more known for their Porsche racing activity, sells a CF hood for the ur q.  One of the owners there, a fellah named Fabryce is a fan of the ur q.  He personally had one restored in his shop and then sold it.  Their fab shop even did what Dialynx in Great Britain did, which is chop about a foot out of a Type 85 chassis ur q and made it into s Sport quattro for a client, except using the 30 valve V6 motor from turbo A6.  In any case, here is the link to their web site:

The hood from the pictures looks like a nice piece.  Due to the complex contours on corners and such, it is difficult to avoid uneven patterns in the CF weave.  Still though, it is very nice through and through.  Hope this help the community out.  Alright fellahs, take it easy.
