[urq] odd temp behavior

I am not a mechanic by trade, but a math geek.
 
Any way, could be that you had an air pocket in the heater core and that when it circulate and reach the water pump...bubbles got behind it...causing the temp to go off.   I would assume it just happen once or twice.  
by now it would have had circulate several times through the reservoir were it would exchange air for solid fuild.
