I see , just like me , you have the joy of an early style fusebox .
Talk about crappy engiuneering .
I'de say , clean up , re-wire and relay the fuel pump circuit .
There are two or 3 useless splices and connections in that circuit all
located near
the fuse box . I gained at least 3 Volt at the fuel pump terminals , without
relaying .
Later on I did install the relay .

Oh btw if you need the early fusebox schematics , I have them scanned in
colour .
